Is the Elite Team Wrong for You?

The Dance Corner was founded on the idea of the studio being home. The main priority of Elite Team is to foster relationships and a commitment to the team as a whole. We expect our Elite Team members to embrace this philosophy and work toward the success and growth of the team. Though opportunities exist for personal growth and showcasing of individual talent, it is not the first priority of this team. Though we recognize that our dancers have family obligations, academic responsibilities, and interests that go beyond dance, Elite Team members are making a commitment to their training and involvement that impacts all of the other team dancers. It is understandable if there is sometimes a conflict that arises; however, if your dancer is unable to fully take on the training and performance demands of competitive dance, Elite Team might not be an appropriate choice. If you have questions or concerns about competition life or the expectations of Elite Team membership, please speak with Miss Amy.

"One of my favorite times of the year is Nutcracker. It takes lots of hard work and preparation but it always pays off. I always wait eagerly to see what parts I and the other girls receive. It is an exciting time. During Nutcracker, I also love to be a role model to the younger girls. It is always fun to see them dance and help them when they need it. Nutcracker brings the TDC family together in so many ways. It is the greatest time of the year."
