This class utilizes foundational elements of jazz, ballet, and tap to develop the dancer’s ability to portray characters through music and movement. Using music from popular Broadway and film musicals, emphasis will be placed on facial-expression, performance, and nuances in musicality and movement that enhance theatrical dance. This is an appropriate class for students who are interested in performing in school or community theater.

Ages 8+
Any Dance Corner or WWPDC dancewear top, black t-shirt, black long sleeve top, black camisole, or black leotard is acceptable. Any sort of Dance Corner dancewear bottom, black shorts, or black jazz pants/leggings is acceptable.
Hair must be tied back off of the face.
Girls: Tan leather split sole slip on jazz boot. Boys: Black leather split sole slip on jazz boot.
