Specific dress codes have been established for each class to ensure the safety of our dancers and to aid the teacher’s ability to observe and correct technique. Please view each class description for specific attire and shoe requirements.
At times, parents and dancers ask our advice on where to purchase specialty shoes and dancewear. Our local dance shops, including Arena Dance in Hamilton, have our current clothing and shoe requirements on file. Many families also have found success using online dance retailers. This season we have partnered with an online vendor, Discount Dance to make it easy to find the required shoes/apparel! Use the link below to shop The Dance Corner's page on their site. Please contact the studio if you have any questions regarding the dress code for any of our classes BEFORE purchasing.
If one of our recommended dance supply stores no longer carries a required item, please let us know. Likewise, if you find a retailer that is not on our list that you would recommend, we want to know about it.
As a courtesy to our families, especially those who have younger students or are new to dance, required shoes can be ordered through the studio office. The Dance Corner also stocks a limited supply of dance wear.
TDC and Elite Team apparel is typically available for order in the Fall. TDC apparel is usually delivered prior to the winter holidays. If you are interested in purchasing TDC or Elite Team apparel, please speak with a staff member in the office.
