Miss Lilah is a true TDC family member! She began her dance training at The Dance Corner in 2001, as one of the studio’s first students. She was an Elite Team member and a consistent presence in WWPDC productions. Miss Lilah went on to pursue Early/Childhood Elementary Education at Hofstra University, where she minored in Dance. She continued her education, obtaining her MA in English as a Second Language. Miss Lilah holds state certifications in Elementary Education, English as a Second Language, English Education, and Special Education. She currently works as an ESL teacher in a local school district. Miss Lilah returned home to TDC as an instructor in 2010. She teaches multiple dance styles, including tap, jazz, lyrical and contemporary (though her favorite style is tap!) She teaches both recreational and competition team classes, being recognized for outstanding choreography at multiple regional dance competitions. Miss Lilah is also an active participant in WWPDC productions as a choreographer and backstage Quick Change magician. In her free time, Miss Lilah enjoys reading, drinking coffee, and listening to her favorite musician- Justin Bieber. She enjoys making memories with her cat, Duncan, and spending time with her mom, dad, and younger sister, Gina (also a TDC alum). Miss Lilah has made TDC her home: “We’re not just a dance studio; we are a family.”
